Happy SUMMER pottery classes in Ely!
We are delighted that Ely College accommodated us with having the pottery room in their art department. A big thank you to all people* who help us making this class not only possible but fun, safe and super comfortable!
This month of August, we will welcome a few new faces to the class and we are very happy about this. We are delighted at The Ceramic Hub to see how people love the creative process and having new potters joining us keeps the interest going and, the diversity of inspiration and ideas.
Our program this month:
Week one
We invited for our session a very special guest. We’ll work on our own design and pottery project on the topic of HAPPINESS.
Week two
We will do imprints in fresh clay and print on bisque. We will ask our potters who have had amazing results with the imprint and printing techniques to demonstrate and work you through their process. You will then be invited to create an object of your choice, either imprinting and/or printing.
Week three
We will create dragons.
Week four
We will decorate all our treasures. We will paint and enjoy our time together. The last session of the month will be a wonderful opportunity to plan our next term together. If you have inspirations or techniques you would like us to introduce to the class or some projects that are dear to your heart, please email Corinne corinne@theceramichub.co.uk.
If you are new to our classes, the enrolment form is to be downloaded here: Enrolment Tuesdays.
Happy and messy creating!
See you soon!
